The validity of last year’s vignettes is only valid until January 31. From February 1 onward, only the new 2026 vignettes will be accepted.
Prices in Austria
The prices for the Austrian vignette have increased for 2026:
- Annual car vignette: now costs 106.80 euros
- Two-month vignette: now costs 32.10 euros
- 10-day vignette: now costs 12.80 euros
- 1-day vignette: now costs 9.60 euros
The route tolls for mountain passes and tunnels in Austria will also be partially increased in 2026:
- A 9 Gleinalm: now costs 12 euros (previously 11.50 euros)
- A 9 Bosruck: costs 7 euros (no change)
- A 10 Tauern/Katschberg: now costs 15 euros (previously 14.50 euros)
- A 13 Brenner: now costs 12.50 euros (previously 12 euros)
- S 16 Arlberg: now costs 13 euros (previously 12.50 euros)
- A 11 Karawanken: now costs 9 euros (previously 8.80 euros)
Prices in Switzerland
The prices for the Swiss vignette have also increased for 2026:
- Annual vignette: now costs 44 euros
If you are driving with a missing or invalid vignette, you must expect fines of 200 euros or more. If the vignette has been tampered with, the fine may be significantly higher.
