Reschen Pass closed

The Reschen Pass is currently considered a good alternative to avoid the extensive construction work at the Brenner Pass. Travelers heading to Italy, who would normally use the Brenner route, often welcome the Reschen Pass as a substitute. However, there is currently construction work on the Reschen Pass as well, and now a major rockfall has occurred. The rocks broke through the protective barrier, leading to a complete closure of the Reschen Pass. This closure is expected to last until Wednesday, May 14, 2025.
