Traffic Ban in Farchant (B2)

What does the through-traffic ban mean?

Starting this Friday (19/12/2025), Farchant will introduce a through-traffic ban when there are traffic jams on the B2. The municipality aims to prevent holidaymakers on their way to the ski resorts from driving through the town. This congestion-related through-traffic ban will apply from this week onwards, every Friday to Sunday as well as on public holidays, in the southbound direction. Only those who can provide a valid reason will be allowed to use the local route. Please note that the police will check compliance with the municipality’s general order.
