My tenth and eleventh travel days took me to Lech am Arlberg, a gem in the Austrian Alps, known for its picturesque beauty and the surrounding Lechquellen Mountains.
Lech am Arlberg greeted me with its charming village character, surrounded by a breathtaking mountain backdrop. The mix of traditional wooden houses and stylish hotels created an inviting atmosphere. I spent the first day strolling through the cozy streets, enjoying the views of the imposing mountains, and sampling local delicacies like apple strudel in small cafés.
On the eleventh day, I embarked on a hike in the Lechquellen Mountains. The region is known for its pristine nature and well-maintained, scenic hiking trails. I followed a path that wound through dense forests and over blooming alpine meadows, with stunning views of the surrounding mountains. The silence and purity of nature were overwhelming, providing the perfect opportunity to relax and enjoy the fresh mountain air.
After returning to Lech, I ended the two days with a cozy dinner. Regional specialties like Käsespätzle and a glass of Vorarlberg wine were the perfect conclusion to these two days in one of Austria's most beautiful regions. Lech am Arlberg and the Lechquellen Mountains offered an ideal combination of village charm and natural beauty.
